Born to Shailesh and Surbhi Doshi in Mumbai, his father, a musician, was his first Guru. He then trained under some of the most respectable personalities like Ranjit Barot, Pankaj Sharma & Lester Godinho. Darshan has played with bands Farhan Live, Soul India with Hariharan, The Bombay Projekt, FUZONIKA, Mumbai Stomp with Taufiq Qureshi, Niladri Kumar & Sitar Funk, Tapasya & Aakruti. Currently he is touring with Salim Sulaiman, Farhan Live, Adnan Sami & Amit Trivedi. He has recorded drums & percussion for many Bollywood films with music directors like A.R.Rahman, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Amit Trivedi, Salim-Sulaiman, Vishal Shekhar, Pritam, Monty Sharma, Sandesh Sandhaliya, Ranjit Barot, Selva Ganesh, Sachin Jigar, M M Kreem & Amaal Malik.

• In 1997 Darshan Doshi established his name in Limca Book of Records as the Youngest Drummer of India.
• Performed stage shows at the age of 2 years & till date performed over 3000 concerts all over the world.
• At age 7 started performing under music director Kalyanji Anandji’s “Little Wonders” & “Little Stars” troupe.
• He currently endorses Pearl Drums, Zildjian Cymbals, Evans Drumheads & VicFirth Darshan Doshi Signature Sticks.
• Recently performed at the prestigious WOMAD festival in UK with Salim-Sulaiman & Karsh Kale.
• Took leading participation in the Indo - Japanese exchange program on its completion of 50 Golden Jubilee years in Tokyo – JAPAN.
• He has won the IRAA (Indian Recording Arts Academy) award in 2014 for the Bollywood film 'Queen' as Best Percussionist.
• He's been awarded a gold medal at Mumbai University (Youth Festival) & bagged various awards in school & intercollegiate festivals.
• He has performed for various charitable social organisations all over India.
• Darshan has played for innumerable episodes of Coke Studio India and MTV Unplugged with a host of India's best artists.
